Please update to Salient Theme Version 8.5.3 and Salient VC 5.2.4.
If you are not seeing the Plugin Update Notification you need to uncheck the " Disable Theme Reccomended Plugin Notifications " Field in "Salient Theme Options Panel" -> General Settings -> "Toggle Theme Features" Section .
Yoast is not using the featured image on each page as it's Facebook og:image meta property.
It instead keeps pulling
as the image.
I'm not a deep-level wp expert, but the only place I can find this referenced is within the content xml file which shows up as:
<wp:postmeta>
<wp:meta_key>_yoast_wpseo_opengraph-image</wp:meta_key>
</wp:postmeta>
Trying to understand if there was an issue with our dev server to production server migration or if there's some other conflict going on there.
Any recommendations to switch Yoast back to the default featured image rather than the hardcoded placeholder would be appreciated.
