    Trying to figure out how to get the WP Retina 2x plugin to play nice with Salient Visual Composer and get it to serve retina images based on the screen I am viewing on.

    Has anyone had success doing this?

    Hey Again,

    I am afraid that is not needed anymore in the New Salient Versions as it supports Responsive Images . 

    Please update to Salient Theme Version 8.5.3 and Salient VC 5.2.4. 

    To get a list of Bug Fixes and new Feature addons in the Latest Theme update,  the changelog can be viewed here : http://themenectar.com/changelogs/salient.html .

    Update the theme by following this guide: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/ .

    So how do I use them? Then.. Upload a full res retina file and let Wordpress & Salient resize and serve the right size?

    Yes thats correct just upload a high res image and the Theme and WP will do the rest .
