I am new to salient thema so I installed a demo site. I want to make a webshop so it seemed best to start with the eccomerce demo you provided.
My question is about the first blocks beneat the slider. In the theme they are used as categories. I would like to achive the same. I want to have 4 categories (necklage, brooch, earrings, custom made).
Here is the problem. The blog I am talking about is a blog post. How can I change that? I want it to go to a overview page with all the products of that categorie. On the demo sites it links directly to a shop item.
That particular demo is using the Portfolio VC Element to link the External Projects which are basically Product Pages. You can use other VC elements such as Fancy Box as well.
Right now the portfolio box is a href to 4 different portfolio items. But I would like to keep the layout of the portfolio VC Element only I'm looking for an option to change the href to product-categories from WooCommerce. I can't find a way to change these links. Using a Fancy Box doesn't give the same layout as the portfolio element does.
For example, in the "Ecommerce" demo the portfolio element is linked to 2 different woocommerce products.
I hope you can help me to find a way to keep the portfolio layout but with customized href links.
