Transparent header black and missing text

    Hi,

Stunning theme!  Good work! However, I have a couple of odd problems, which are probably related...

    1) I have the transparent header selected, which works fine on load, and it shrinks and goes white when you scroll down the page.  But, if you scroll back up the top of the page, it goes black, rather than transparent.  Is this just me, or is there a problem with the Javascript?

    2) A number of elements further down the page have opacity 0.  After a bit of fiddling, this seems to be any element which has CSS animation activated (either via column, row, direct to the element such as heading, or portfolio).  I can unhide them in inspector, but changing the CSS does nothing, as its being sent to 0 by the javascipt).

I've tried deactivating all the plugins, reverting to the Salient parent theme rather than Salient Child, and reinstalling salient. I've also been able to repeat the hidden text on an empty test page (http://rcmclients.co.uk/test).  I've also replicated the error on another browser (Edge and Chrome)

Help! Any pointers as to what I have done wrong would be fantastic!

    Cheers,

    Rog

    Hey there,

    Thanks for reaching in,

If you have Page Transitions Turned On Please Switch the Animated Transition Method to "Standard" in Salient Theme Options -> Page Transition Section.

Also be sure to check/uncheck this Disable Fade Out On Click option : http://prntscr.com/8f3bj7

Moreover if it doesnt work Turn off the Page Transitions and check for Browser Console Errors : https://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Your_Browser_to_Diagnose_JavaScript_Errors

    Hi Andrew,

Thanks for the reply.  I've gone through your suggestions. Page transitions was not switched on. However, there is a Javascript error showing up: http://prntscr.com/i8usx7

    Any idea how to rectify?

    Cheers

Hi, just done a little more digging, and the error only occurs when the Portfolio module is on the page (that would relate to the console error).

I've tried various settings on the portfolio module, including deleting and reinserting the default, but nothing seems to bring the text back.

Okay, just deleted all my portfolio entries, and added a couple of new ones, and it works!  No idea why the old ones were misbehaving, but it all seems to be working now!

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

    cheers
