I love this theme!! It's almost perfect but for this one issue I am having, incidentally, it also happens with your demo version. I did look but couldn't see if anyone has raised this issue with you yet so sorry if this issue is duplicated elsewhere.
When using the filter to sort through the portfolio images it all works fine, they sort properly, hide and appear as they should, until I start scrolling using my phone (especially if I scroll right down to the bottom of the page), then what happens is all the filtered images pop back up, not only that, the selection I made in the filter is still active (so it's like having "All" selected when you actually have something filtered"). This also happens on the desktop version when resizing the browser window. Is there any way to keep the filter selection throughout resizing on a desktop and scrolling on a phone?
I have replicated this on an android phone using stock browser and chrome, on an iphone and on my desktop using chrome & firefox. The filters don't even display in IE and the browser keeps refreshing in compatibility mode but never displays the filters.
Some help would be great, need to get this site live as soon as poss.
there is a known bug that will cause the portfolio to show all items again when resizing the screen - however I have not heard reports of this happening just by scrolling. I can replicate the resize behavior on your portfolio as the demo, but can only see the scroll issue occurring on chrome mobile, not the default browser. I believe for whatever reason the resize event is getting called on scroll causing the same issue to occur though.
The update to solve this will be out in a few days - please sit tight :)
As for the IE8 issue - I was unaware of any IE8 specific bugs with the filters. Testing now on it the only issue apparently seems to be that the loading icon sticks around when it should fadeout.

Also, do you know why IE has such problems displaying the portfolio filters? even on your demo site it just refuses to load (Using IE8)
