How do I change the icon images on the home page. Where there is trophy icon for example can I upload my own image?

You can only upload your own images for icons with the image with animation shortcode - it won't have the large icon style though. The icons available in the icon shortcode are actually not images, they are created from icon fonts which is why they are not easily expandable without getting into the code.
