    Is it possible to include a Google map in the footer area through a widget? That would be extremely helpful.

    Hey Again,

    Simply add a Google Map Iframe in a Text Widget and it should work perfectly .

    So that is not something I can do with the Salient functionality you mean. Right?

    I actually just found a solution others may benefit from as well. I created and embedded a map in a page and then copied the HTML from the source code and pasted it into the HTML widget in the footer and that worked.
