I have inherited a website using Salient 8.0.15 and VC 5.0.1. Are there any issues if I upgrade to the latest version of Salient and VC?
This website is hosted on Pantheon and Visual Composer is listed as a plugin with known issues because it requires write access to the site's codebase which is not granted on test and live environments by design. Is this an issue with the new WPBakery version?
I have been unable to use SiteOrigins Accordian Widget and wonder if there is a known issue regarding this plugin.
Yes you can upgrade to the latest versions. Please be advised that theme uses its own page builder the salient VC different to the wpbakery one. With the regards to the hosting incompatibility your host would be in a better place to answer that.
