1) To get that button there, select the second layout centered menu from salient \ header navigation - layout related. Then go to appearance \ menu - create a new menu - name it and save.
Then add a custom link item to it and then add button_solid_color_2 in the CSS option of that custom menu item. Then select - top navigation menu pull right option from the menu settings at the bottom of that page.
Save and view. That should give you a similar look.
2) For a button on the header are for off canvas menu enable the off canvas menu option from salient \ navigation - off canvas navigation area.
The off canvas menu are can also be set up with widgets under appearance \ widgets - off canvas menu. You can try and use that also.
For the social icons consider enabling the social icons option from salient \ header navigation - layout related - enable social icons. The links for them are in salient \ social media.

I would like to achieve a header for an event site with the following:
Logo
Standard menu items
Social links
'Book Tickets' button
Off canvas icon revealing secondary menu and event info (can this off canvas area include a widget?)
