    Hi there,

    I bought Salient Theme today and at once i installed it. But now i have big troubles: if i try to activate the theme or rather view the preview i get an http error 500 every time.

    I deleted the theme in wordpress and via ftp client. But that help either.

    Can you give me a workaround how i can get the theme running.

    Could PHP Version 5.3 on the hosting-server be the problem?

    Hey 

    Your PHP Settings are likely not correct. Also ensure you running PHP 7.1 only .

    You can verify your PHP configuration limits by installing a simple plugin called WordPress phpinfo http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-php-info/

    Recommended PHP configuration limits are as follows:

    • max_execution_time 60
    • memory_limit 256M
    • post_max_size 48M
    • upload_max_filesize 48M

    Please have your hosting provider fix this for you so it can be installed correctly.
