Problem with updating to Salient 8.5.4

    I'm attempting to update Salient to v8.5.4 using the Envato Market plugin.

    I've entered the OAuth key and it says "Your OAuth Personal Token has been verified". 

    It then put me into the screen with Themes and Settings tabs, with Themes tab active. In the box with orange top bar on left there's a link that says "Update Available" but when I click that link nothing happens?

    Also, if I click the link on the right of that orange top bar which says "View version 8.5.4 details." it pops open a window but it's just a blank white window without any info displayed in it.

    Please advise.

    Hey Again,

    Your PHP Settings are likely not correct. Also ensure you are running the latest version of PHP on the server

    You can verify your PHP configuration limits by installing a simple plugin called WordPress phpinfo http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-php-info/

    Recommended PHP configuration limits are as follows:

    • max_execution_time 60
    • memory_limit 256M
    • post_max_size 48M
    • upload_max_filesize 48M

    Please have your hosting provider fix this for you so it can be installed correctly.

    Hi Tahir,

    Thanks for your reply... I have two sites with Salient on this same server. With the other site this update plugin works OK, and it is running PHP v5.6.30 whereas the site I'm having this problem on is running PHP v7.0.25.

    The PHP settings are all up to snuff out of the box except the max_execution_time, but I've set that locally at 60 on both sites using the PHP Settings plugin already. Again, this works on one of the sites on this same server.

    I'm attaching a PDF print of the PDF Info from both sites. The one for RejuvenationStation is where the problem occurs.

    Further Update: tried also uninstalling and re-installing Envato Market plugin, still the same. Tried using different browser, still the same.

    It acts as though the 'Update Available' link is dead, nothing at all happens when it is clicked. I see no evidence of anything being initiated and then simply failing. 

    Rather it appears that nothing is being initiated as if the link is dead, although I can see the link's url displayed in the browser when hovering it.

    Unfortunately in that case you will have to update the Theme manually via FTP . 

    Update the theme by following this guide: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/ .

    Hi Tahir,

    OK, I have it updated... I'm glad the Easy Theme Upgrades Plugin still works with the latest version of WP,  it's not been updated in awhile. Do you know if it will be kept current going forward?

    I'm thinking that perhaps the problem with the Envato Market updater plugin may have to do with me having two licenses for the same theme in the same Envato account whereby it works for the first instance but fails on the second?

    Just a thought, I realize ThemeNectar did not produce that software, but perhaps this problem should be reported to Envato?
