In Wordpress 3.8 using the salient update from 19 January 14, there is a blue M on the sidebar of the dashboard. When you hover over any content in the dashboard the M pops out to cover the whole Chrome viewport and the dashboard becomes inaccessible below the position of the Salient menu. This does not happen in Firefox, according to my testing.
I am using chrome 33.0.1750
I meant to make this public not private. If you can change that on your end, that'd be great. Also, i can provide a screencast of the behavior if that would be helpful.
you just need to clear your cache – you’re seeing the new .svg theme options icon and probably have the old stylesheet cached which doesn’t have the rules for its correct size. :)

Hey Bearcat!

Cheers!
