Please update to Salient Theme Version 8.5.4 and Salient VC 5.2.4.
If you are not seeing the Plugin Update Notification you need to uncheck the " Disable Theme Reccomended Plugin Notifications " Field in "Salient Theme Options Panel" -> General Settings -> "Toggle Theme Features" Section .
The browser was Chrome running on a windows 8 PC. Really strange as I am currently using chrome with no issues. My collegues device seems to display the video but no actually play the content.
We are aware of the restrictions when viewing on a mobile device, but this is on a desktop PC....
As I said it is really strange, we was receiving the below error and now no error but a still image.
I have confirmed this by changing the preview image yet her device is still displaying the start of the video (completely different to the preview image I set), cleared cache etc before hand.
Apologies about the delay in response, still not resolved the issue, completely removed the plugin from wordpress and no joy. Doesnt seem to be down to video format as when we go to the next row of the site and then go back up to the top row the video starts to play. The issue is that when u land on the website it will not automatically play without exiting the row and then moving back up to it.
Also having an issue now where the scroll button has returned to www.vsmhealthcare.com
Did manage to remove this via the Salient theme options but seems to have reappeared! any advice of how I can rid of this.
Your Video is about 65MB which is huge . Please pass it through the online convertor to get it to a smaller size for it to load instantly. IF that is not an option try linking it via Vimeo or Youtube : http://prntscr.com/j47zzs .

My video background seems to work fine on the devices I have viewed it on, however a colleague checked the website and got this error back...

Hopefully Salient will figure a way to have video backgrounds on mobile view on the next update!

The Video wont work on Mobile Tablet instead the Preview Image would be shown . Its likely your colleague is seeing that preview image.

Could you let us know which browser and resolution is the issue occurring on . Also provide a screenshot of the issue .
