    Hello,


    I have created and assigned portfolio categories to my pages, as you can see in the screenshot. But when I head in to the portfolio item on a page, it simply shows "all" as a filter option. I can't figure out the error...

    Hi Jordi1994,

    About the portfolio categories not appearing on the configuration of the portfolio element, could you go one of the categories edit page and save changes. Then see if it appears in the portfolio element.

    If not then make sure you are using the latest version of salient visual composer that comes with the theme. You can do this by deleting the salient visual composer plugin and then installing it again from appearance \ install plugins. Activate it and see if that helps with the issue.

    If not check if one of your plugins is the cause by disabling all except salient visual composer.
    If that does not expose the cause of the issue then give us temporary admin access - username password with admin privileges - we check this from the backend.

    Hi Jordi1994,

    The portfolio element does not use portfolio categories that do not have portfolio element added to them.

    You have installed a plugin that adds a portfolio post type to your site and the portfolio element cannot use those categories. They are conflicting with the ones that come built into the theme.

    So try and disable that plugin and use the inbuilt portfolio provided by the theme.
