My problem is that the button at the top of the blue post header seems to have generated itself and it says 'Brittany' which is good but the link goes to http://campingmobilehomesholidays.co.uk/category/brittany but I need ti to go to http://campingmobilehomesholidays.co.uk/brittany/
ie., without the /category in the URL. I have tried everything, various bits of CSS and plugins but I can't get it to change and can't even delete the button in order to customise the header manually instead. I also toyed with setting up parent pages called category and nesting brittany within it and tried changing the category slug but nothing seems to work.
I have also set up a similar situation in the Normandy, Vendee and Picardy sections (accessible from http://campingmobilehomesholidays.co.uk/home-full/ so obviously these are the same. Is it because i am using both pages and posts?
When on the Chateau de Galinee page (http://campingmobilehomesholidays.co.uk/chateau-de-galinee/), click on Brittany and it simply generates a new post of itself but won't go to my Brittany home page. Same with my Normandy, Vendee sections etc.
Dear Salient,
I have added 15 pages of French holiday destinations at http://campingmobilehomesholidays.co.uk/home-full/
and each one of my Essential Grids goes to the relevant page, for example http://campingmobilehomesholidays.co.uk/brittany
If you look at the Brittany page example I have populated it with one campsite for which I have made a post for it at http://campingmobilehomesholidays.co.uk/chateau-de-galinee/
My problem is that the button at the top of the blue post header seems to have generated itself and it says 'Brittany' which is good but the link goes to
http://campingmobilehomesholidays.co.uk/category/brittany but I need ti to go to http://campingmobilehomesholidays.co.uk/brittany/

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Lee

Hi, just tried Redirection by John Goodley. I put in the URL
http://campingmobilehomesholidays.co.uk/category/brittany/
to point to
http://campingmobilehomesholidays.co.uk/brittany/
When on the Chateau de Galinee page (http://campingmobilehomesholidays.co.uk/chateau-de-galinee/), click on Brittany and it simply generates a new post of itself but won't go to my Brittany home page. Same with my Normandy, Vendee sections etc.

Hey Again,
It seems to be linking correctly . Not sure what you mean by new post though ?.

Thanks Tahir,
I cleared all my cache, closed down and yes it is now working properly. Thanks for the tip - the Redirect plugin works a treat.
