Hi, I received notification that Salient was updated to a new version.
THere's no option in Wordpress to update through the admin console, so i downloaded the .zip file.
However when I go to install the later version, WP tells me the error 'the theme salient is already installed'.
How can I update without losing any of my content, slider settings, etc. ?

You just have to download the latest release from ThemeForest, delete the current version you have and upload the new. All of your content and settings will persist through :)
Thanks! For those reading later who are equally un-technical, also make sure you unzip the zip file you download, to access the 'salient.zip' file within it. Otherwise you'll get an error when you try to install...
I also can not update from my admin panel, where did you find the .zip file?
