I'm using the Page Scroll to ID plugin, and it highlights all of my nav links rather than the specific anchor. What highlight selector do I use with this main nav? Or how can I solve the issue? (the plugin support page is of no help, btw)
THANKS!
Thanks for your response. Unfortunately the site is still local, so I can't send you a link. I imagine that I've made a mistake somewhere in setting up the plugin. I'm wondering if there is an issue between the link styles of the theme and the plugin. Do I need to add a specific class (active, visited, hover) to the anchor div? I have an anchor div for the target element on the page, and then in WP menus I have the items linked as "/#anchorname". It works perfectly from remote pages back to those anchors on the homepage, but everything on the homepage that is linked with anchors is highlighted all of the time rather than when it is selected. I've even altered the plugin so that highlight all is set to false.
It's weird because I tried setting up the same scenario locally (hash links in a submenu which lead to areas on the parent page & using the plugin for animated scrolling) but can't get them to highlight incorrectly. Perhaps you could put this on the backburner until you're ready to stage the site online so I can take a peek then and help out more?
Hey Kellie!
Is there anyway I could grab a URL to your page showing this issue so I can see what's making the links highlighted?
Cheers :)
