Using WPML with Salient

When I add a Nectar Slider to a page with WPML activated (and an additional translation) I get two sliders on one page. Is Salient 100% compatible with MPML? Thanks.

Hey Benjamin! Sorry for the delay - thanks for your patience.

Salient has only been tested in a basic sense with WPML and as 100% compatibility has not been claimed yet, some bugs may exist. However, there's a good amount of people using WPML without that issue so would you mind allowing me to log in so I can check on it for you?

    Cheers :)

Thanks for the quick response. I actually don't have a production ready release yet. I am wondering if I am implementing the Nector Slider incorrectly? I think it may be more widespread because if I add a "Recent Posts" plugin to a translated page, it also doubles the content. I know without seeing it there isn't much you can do. Could you point me in the right direction of where to start?

I believe the Nectar Slider is what's causing the doubles content on the page - if you remove it the recent posts shouldn't double anymore. I've only tested with WPML 2.7 and can't replicate the doubling issue, but it's been reported in higher releases. I'm still waiting on my WPML developer license to get approved so I can get the latest release to test with.

    Cheers :)

Thanks for the quick response. I will test without the Nectar Slider. I would like to use the slider (because it is awesome) on some of my pages. Is it something you would like to have working with WPML soon? I am on version 3.8.1 of Wordpress.

    Thanks again!
