I've set up a glossary on my site, and want to add an additional, more obvious, search field to the page, so people can search the glossary. I tried adding a widget, but it didn't make a search appear in the sidebar. Help? Thanks
the default search widget is hidden by default since Salient offers a search available at any point in the page through the fixed header. The search used in the header is also occupying the functionality of the default search widget so placing another on the same page would cause issues. I will note to try and allow this in the next update though :)
You might be able to find a plugin to offer an additional search widget or just hardcode a search input if you know HTML
