We've just purchased and installed the Salient theme but we noticed a conflict with our AMP plugin (https://fr.wordpress.org/plugins/accelerated-mobile-pages/). As it is a very famous plugin (the best one for AMP), could you solve this problem ?
Hey Again, Sorry but we cant help resolve Third party plugin conflicts as per Themeforest Policy : http://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy . Thanks
Thanks for your reply. I am aware you do not provide help for basic third-party plugins. However, for that one it is different and fits the description you made in this article : https://themenectar.ticksy.com/article/5032/
I quote you : " If it is a popular plugin let us know the details so we can look into adding support for it in future Theme Updates "
With more than 100 000 users, 600 reviews and 4,6 score out of 5, AMP for WP (https://fr.wordpress.org/plugins/accelerated-mobile-pages/) is the main plugin used to provide Accelerated mobile page on wordpress. There is an other one on the market but by far, not as good (3,4 score out of 5).
AMP is getting more and more used and pushed to be a Google standard. More and more people with use this plugin. Which mean more and more people will expect Salient to work fine with it. So yes, I do believe it meets the requirements in this article of yours and that you could gain a lot from adding a fix in your next update.
About the conflict, I am sending you an attachment so you can have a look. In every tabs of the salient menu in wordpress, some contents about setting are broken. That causes buttons not to work - no action after a click.
Also, I will try to get some help by posting a comment in the "Discussion on Salient". I believe this is something that needs to be shared and known before purchasing (even though it is a minor conflict and your theme has definetly more pros than cons ;) !).
