I've checked out other tickets around this subject but can't seem to resolve. I'm looking for a masonry grid for portfolio content but all images display square by default. My understanding of masonry grid is they automatically display either portrait or landscape, depending on original image dimensions.

I can see that I can set individual images to wide, tall or both but this seems to just double up on height, width or both, rather than display accurate aspect ratio.

Tried regenerating thumbnails and I'm only using featured image, not additional custom thumb.
