Hello!

I've been learning about Gutenberg's new editor from our hosting tech support team, and trained a little bit about it.

I installed the Gutenberg editor plugin to get acquainted with it, but I noticed that it does not play that well with the Salient Theme. Thankfully, the classic editor button is still available for now, but with Wordpress 5.0, I am worried that my clients with the Salient theme (I have 4) will have some complications when Gutenberg will be the default editor, and the classic editor is no longer available.

Is ThemeNectar working on compatibility with Gutenberg, and any documentation on how we can effectively continue to use your beautiful theme with Gutenberg's editor?

Any guidance or advice on this would be helpful, so I can empower my clients to feel great about this coming huge leap in the editor and wordpress.

Okay, I do look at the changelog. This is what it says

• Fixed Gutenberg conflicts with post format metaboxes

It doesn't say anywhere Gutenberg Ready. So the question is still: Is Salient at the current point Gutenberg ready?

I'm currently updating my website and want write blog posts using Gutenberg. To my knowledge there are more options to create modern blog posts using Gutenberg. But if it conflicts with Salient in anyway I want use it. 

But I can use the plugin with Salient without any problems?

I've been trying to use Gutenberg as it's far superior for blog posts, but there are some niggles caused by the dependencies on WPBakery.

Are there plans to better support Gutenberg with this theme, i.e. expose the shortcodes in Gutenberg?

Ah, I see you can add Gutenberg elements to WPBakery. Are there any plans to do make it work the other way around too?
