1) The theme does not have an option for that and the profile photo set in users \ all users - select and edit - find profile photo option is what is used as the author photo. Set it from there for it to be used on the posts.
2) About the author archive page not working, could you flush your permalinks by going to settings \ permalinks and hitting the save changes button several times to get the link structures flushed.
Also disable all other plugins except salient page builder to see if that has an effect on this issue.
Let us know how it goes and we can take it from there.
2) The flush of the permalinks didn´t have effect. But when I disabled all the plugins, the author page worked! But then I reactivated it all, and the page stopped working. After, I tested to disable one plugin at a time to discover witch one was conflicting this, but I was not successful.
For the author picture settings go to Users > Your profile and you can change profile picture from there.
About the plugin conflict, its gotta be one of them. Please check again carefully. Deactivate all of theme, then clear cache. Reactivate each of them why clearing your cache in sequence and you will surely find the culprit.
I don´t have this photo of the User with Gravatar. Well, let´s cross this bridge in the near future, when I have more visitors in my blog. For now, I will not consider this problem.
Hello guys,
Problem 1: I wish to add a photo of the author in the blog post, but don´t find where I can add it.
Problem 2: the url of the author to see all their posts, is not working: https://vality.com.br/author/vitorbotega/
kind regards
