has the templates pages.php this code already inserted by you?
i ask because i deleted this code (maybe my predecessor put it inside - i don't know) and after a smaller theme update the code is back in the pages.php.
i want it only on the blog page(s).
i put the pages.php now in the child theme. will the be a disadvantage with future updates?
Add this into the Custom CSS box located in your Salient Options panel (All custom css provided is tested in the Live Browser so it will work as intended . If you cant see any changes make sure there is no red cross in the Custom CSS Box as that syntax error would cause all css below it to not show up on the Frontend):

Hey Again,
Yes Salient supports Yoast Breadcrumbs , You can simply hide the breadcrumbs on the pages using css rather than editing the page.php file .

hi tahir,
thanks for your reply!
so can you please confirm that with every theme update the breadcrumbs will show up again?
how would i do this with css. on every single page?
as i mentioned i want them only on the blog part of the site.
thanks again, kai

hi tahir,
thanks for the css snippet!
as i repeatedly said, i want the breadcrumbs to be shown on my blog pages (i mean the blog functionality of wp) and not on all other (static) pages.
this code removes - as i already predicted in my last post - the breadcrumbs on all! pages. and i just tested it to be sure. it does!
so why do you give me that solution???
and what other solution is there for my "problem"?
thanks a lot, kai
