We use categoiry filter to create two blog pages: Blog and Resources.
Issue 1: If I add to the page category and tag displaye they are not filtered by the main categories Blog and Resources. Hens they show all categories and all tags and not those specific to the Resource or Blog pages. Is there a way to filter those too.
Issue 2: On the resource page, if a user goes to the last post, the section NEXT post at the bottom of the page shows the post from BLOG page. This is not correct. It show no more blogs in the page as this was the last blog for Resources
But the page is filtered. It is only one element of the page that is not.
See capture 1 and 2 - these are two blog pages filtered by category.
Capture 3 shows you the last post from Capture 1 and underneath it as suggested post the first post of Capture 2. So some how it knows the posts in the category "resources" are over and redirects to category "blog"

No i am afraid both requests cant be done as there is only one Blog Post Type available.

You likely have more than One Category assigned to that particular post . In that case it wont filter it .
