I'm not sure if this is anything to do with Salient, but since I updated to version 9, I am having problems with huge files being created in .cagefs/tmp and the website becoming unresponsive. I've tried disabling non-essential plug-ins and it seems to be related to Contact Form 7, in that if I deactivate it, the problem doesn't occur. Are you able to shed any light on this?
Sure, .cagefs/tmp is a directory on the hosting. But what happens is that if I change anything in CF7, such as the Mail To field, immediately a huge file appears there. I'm asking you because I know Salient recommends and integrates with CF7.
No, just the usual stuff about something on your website causing it, which is correct in this case. It seems to be that if I change the Mail To field to an address not on the same domain as the website, immediately the problem occurs.

Hey Again,
.cagefs/tmp is likely a server side file . Please contact your hosting provider and inquire about this .

Yes we recommend it as its the goto plugin for contact forms. Did you get a response from the hosting provider ?.

Best would be to contact CF7 Support as this could be a new bug .
