I was testing different menu settings to see which menu looks the best, and now the code messed up and the text is smashed up together.
This is the 5th time this has happened. It has happened with the older theme, and the new updated theme.
Anytime I change anything with the logo, or menu settings, the text get's messed up on the entire website. Something is wrong with the theme.
I checked all the plugins, so its not the plugins. I don't even have that many plugins.

Also the canvas menu doesn't scroll on mobile phones which means that the menu is cut off and I can't see the entire menu. When I try to scroll the menu, the website in the background scrolls instead, and the menu remains static
Recommended PHP configuration limits are as follows:
max_execution_time 60
memory_limit 256M
post_max_size 48M
upload_max_filesize 48M
Please have your hosting provider fix this for you so it can be installed correctly.
Also update to Salient Theme Version 9.01 and Salient VC 5.5.2.
If you are not seeing the Plugin Update Notification you need to uncheck the " Disable Theme Reccomended Plugin Notifications " Field in "Salient Theme Options Panel" -> General Settings -> "Toggle Theme Features" Section .

Your PHP Settings are likely not correct. Also ensure you are running PHP version 7.1 and not 7.2 as its incompatible .
You can verify your PHP configuration limits by installing a simple plugin called WordPress phpinfo http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-php-info/
