    Dear reader,

    I would like to change the default background color to #141414 so that if you scroll down, you don't see the white/light grey in between.

    Is this possible?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hey Again,

    Add this into the Custom CSS box located in your Salient Options panel (All custom css provided is tested in the Live Browser so it will work as intended . If you cant see any changes make sure there is no red cross in the Custom CSS Box as that syntax error would cause all css below it to not show up on the Frontend):

    body, body .container-wrap, body .home-wrap, body #page-header-wrap {
        background-color: #141414 !important;
    }

    Thanks

    Thank you Tahir for your fast reply. Unfortunately it didn't work. As you might see on our homepage, the background is still white/greyish when you scroll down. There are no red crosses in the CSS box. How can I fix this?

    See Screenshot : http://prntscr.com/i9h8j7 . You need to turn off the Header Resize Option  or Switch to the new Material Skin .

    Unfortunately, the background is still the wrong color. What do you mean by switching to the new material skin? That one I haven't tried.

    The only thing that happens when i change the skin field is that there is a blue line. Background stays grey...

    The css is working correctly : http://prntscr.com/kvrp0k . Where exactly are you still seeing the other colors ? .
