The demo import does not include the images from the demos for copyright reasons.
The import should give you the text content from the demo site. You then need to set the homepage to an actual page in settings \ reading - front page settings area.
Also before doing the import make sure you server is using PHP 5.6 or higher on your server, with a PHP memory limit set to 128 MB or higher if possible because the importation take a bit more resources on the server so that its done properly.
I have followed the steps to install the nectar theme and imported the demo content.
But content is not displaying properly i want exactly like the demo theme what should i do.
