I just did a fresh Wordpress install on a local machine. The first thing I did was installing the theme and importing the demo Blog-Ultimate. There is no header image on the landing page as shown on the preview, but more importantly I can't see any pages in the header, neither in the footer. When I search for the pages using the search bar, they show up.
Same is true for any other theme I tried to import since. This is Safari. Same happens in Chrome, while not being logged in.
Adding new pages doesn't do any difference.
Given it is a fresh install and that I haven't customized anything – what do you recommend?

You will have to assign the menu in the Appearance -> Menus Section in the WP Dashboard.
