Hey, i try to add the "Read more" button on my excerpt post, but it doesn't work. i have activated the Automatic Post Excerpts in the blog salient menu.
In the Blog setting of the page I use the layout "Standard blog no sidebar" and the Standard layout style named "Featured image left style". If i choose an other standard layout style the button Read more works but it's not the style i want for my site.
Yes thats correct the Read More is not supported in some styles as the title and Excerpt itself lnks to the Relevant Url so there is no sense in adding a Read More that links it again .

No i am afraid those would require Template level edits which i believe are not child theme compatible.
