Hey, Ive just updated my theme and the nectar slider at the top of my home page now loads to the left of my screen. This seems to occur on Google Chrome and my phone but seems OK on my desktop Mac Safari browser.
OK.....So I've just read in the change log that I needed to empty all my 'Browser Caches', as this is a major update. This fixed my issue.
Just a note, emptying my Wordpress caches did NOT fix this issue alone. So, im not overly sure it will fix any issues with people that have saved my website address.
I just updated too and am having the same issue. As you suggested, I also cleared by Chrome cached images and files.
But, I'm still getting same issue with the the slider shifting to the left.
Is there anything I am missing? How do I clear my Wordpress cache? I installed a cacheing plugin POST the update. I used the clear cache option but it didn't help.
1) Make sure your Wordpress version is up to date.
2) Make sure you've updated the WPBakery Page Builder. It DOESN'T automatically update with the theme & its not obvious that it needs updating. Go to 'Installed Plugins' (Wordpress) and check the actual plugin.
3) Update all your other plug-ins as older versions may not be compatible with new theme.
4) Install a good Cache plugin. I use WP3T Cache plugin. Purge all caches (this is a clickable option)
5) Clear your browser cache and give it a bit of time for the web crawlers to pick-up the newly cached version.
I know some of this is obvious, but it rules out most things...
Thanks Steve for the step by step! Unfortunately, I was unsuccessful with your instructions. I think perhaps because I installed the caching plugin POST the upgrades. I'm thinking the new plugin had not stored/cached the code/info that is causing the issue.
My work around was to create a new Nectar slider location, created a new row and entered the new Nectar code there. Works like a charm. Although, this hack would not be feasible if you have a lot or complicated sliders to recreate/redo.
To me this is one of the most frustrating things about Wordpress - changing versions and updating plugins can be headaches.

I believe, everything else is OK
