Since the last update of Salient, I notice various issues on the zoom in the woocommerce. I notice that on the first image when we pass the mousse on it it just get bigger meanwhile is keeping the small image in the background. That's really look like a bug instead of a zoom.
Adding to this issue, I see that on some images the zoom just doesn't work and i would like to know why as they were all uploaded with the same size.
It removed at least the zoom option and his weird action of superposing the image, but still some images don't have the zoom enable on hover when others have it.
So if it's a manipulation on the functions.php how can I save that on the child-theme to make sure that at the next theme update this setting is not disappearing?
Unfortunately there is no such code guide available Please consider hiring a freelancer over at Envato Studio for these Theme customizations as they are not provided as Support: http://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy .
As I was waiting for your answer and as the website is live, I had to create a quick patch so I hide the zoom option and implemented the line code in the functions.php.
If you can tell me how to arrange the issue with the zoom option, I can then put back everything live.
Could you allow us to log in to your website backend dashboard so we can check on this for you more?. We are gonna need the username and password of admin user as well as the login url.

But nearly on all products this problem happen...
Hi Tahir,
Waiting for your answer, I integrated those line on the functions.php of the main salient theme
remove_theme_support( 'wc-product-gallery-zoom' );
remove_theme_support( 'wc-product-gallery-lightbox' );
remove_theme_support( 'wc-product-gallery-slider' );
It removed at least the zoom option and his weird action of superposing the image, but still some images don't have the zoom enable on hover when others have it.
So if it's a manipulation on the functions.php how can I save that on the child-theme to make sure that at the next theme update this setting is not disappearing?

I have the impression to speak with a chatbot...
I asked you about the zoom issue that appears on Salient since the update.
Can you answer about that...
Thank you
Hey Again,
We havent had anyone report such an issue yet. I am not seeing any zoom button as in your screenshot ? http://prntscr.com/lc7i6m .
Did you try adjusting the new Woocommerce Options in the Salient Theme Options Panel ?.

Hey Again,
Salient 9.0.1 is not compatible with Woocommerce 3.5 which is likely causing the issue. Also you seem to be on Salient 9.0 .

So what should I do to solve this issue?
Is there any plan on your side to make Salient compatible with the latest Woocommerce version?
Hey Again,
Yes there will be a update released in the coming week . In the meantime you will have to rollback to Woo 3.4.7 .
