Issue with Nectar Slider light/dark transitions

I'm in the middle of migrating my Salient-themed site from one institutional server to another, and one issue I can't seem to crack is how to get the Nectar Slider slides to properly switch from a dark header to a light header  correctly. The old site that I'm trying to match is here:

    http://www.morehouselab.pitt.edu

    The new site is here:

    http://homepages.uc.edu/~morehonn/

Notice that 2/4 of the slider slides are light with dark text and a dark header. However, in the migrated version, these light slides don't shift to dark header text or banner icon. I can't see anything on my end that differs between the Salient settings for either site.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hey Again,

That is dependent on the Text Color Option in here: http://prntscr.com/lcp6vy .

Also Try using the "Header Permanent Transparent" Option : http://prntscr.com/gyj1t2 .

    Hi Tahir,

Neither of these solve the issue. I had already played/toggled with the Text Color to see if that helped, but it doesn't and these were set properly anyway. The Header Permanent Transparent option does allow me to see the header now on the light themed sliders, but it also forces the site to use the dark text version of the header on the dark themed sliders (I'd rather it used the light text version that I have provided it). It also shows that there are issues with the spacing between text and header, but just in the second slider. I've tried rebuilding these sliders without any success. I have left the site with the "Header Permanent" option turned on so that you can see what I mean: http://homepages.uc.edu/~morehonn/.

    Advice?

    Hey Again,

    - Unfortunately thats not possible given the current Theme Options. You will have to change the text color of the particular slide using custom css as in the 3rd slide.

Please have a look at this Article :Adjust Nectar Slider Text with CSS

    - I cant seem to recreate any such layout issue. Could you provide a screenshot so i can take a look.
