I normally do my own migrations, but my client's web host (small, local host) insisted on migrating a website I had just built in Salient. I always use velvet blues updater plugin for URL find/replace... but he evidently did the find/replace on the database itself, and that caused my theme panel options to revert to default. Even worse, I had stored all my custom css inside the theme panel.... for a large website. It's really a disaster.
I am seeing mentioned that a find/replace can cause this when the new URL has a different number of characters (which of course it did) and that can mess up the serialization.
Is there any way to recover the settings? I am crossing my fingers. I am capable of dealing with the DB if needed and will do a full backup of the site first. Anything I could do to recover would really save me a ton of time and suffering. Thank you so much for your suggestions!
