The overall look/functionality of my site has changed. It is like I hit a Hot-key, shortcut, or toggle switch to change to a Classic code style editor, rather than the Visual Editor. Perhaps the WP Bakery Plug-in has something to do with it. I tried to dis-able Classic View Editor and that didn't help. The Drag and Drop function of the dashboard no-longer works. Everything is all short-code. I need to return to the Visual Editor....PLEASE HELP!!!

Have a client with a similar issue and we're trying to get it working. We followed the update guide, but we're only getting the text view when editing on the backend.

@K , Have a look at the Page Builder Setting the WP Dashboard . Also see: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/installing-plugins/ and be sure you have Salient Page Builder 5.6 .

Thanks for the quick response. We do have 5.6 installed - after client (inadvertently) updated WP to 5.0, we updated Salient from 7.7 to 10 via Envato Market, then installed Salient WPBakery 5.6 plugin. Here's the role manager screen:

Did you install the Classic Editor plugin ?.

Could you try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

The Classic Editor is installed and active. I've tried deactivating it, but no change in behavior. I'll try deactivating plugins.

Looks like it was the Yoast SEO plugin. Thanks for your help.
