I have had some issues with current developers installing the salient updates - finally finished, I plan on creating a very simple blog page myself.

My understanding is the salient theme has something built in I could activate.

Can you provide any help here please?

I have already now gone through and created a blog page and I'm using the masonry layout.

But it is not grabbing the feature image for the posts, it is just creating a solid black background. You can see on the blog post I have added a feature to the article.

I am using the attached settings. Can you please guide? I'm sure it's not a big change that needs to happen.
