Can you provide some back-end information regarding the settings you have in place for the theme preview landing page video with the cartoon viking (i.e. export settings, file size, dimensions, etc.)? The video loads almost instantly and we have noticed that despite our optimization attempts the video for our landing page can take a considerable time to load.
One quick note - doing some research on the ideal settings. Example: dimensions; final file size; bitrate & framerate. Do you have that information for the sample video on the theme?
