Are they visible or not ?. We dont have any setting in the theme that would cause content to show or not show on mobile. Please elaborate so we can help you out.
OK, I deactivated JetPack, now the site appears OK.
However, the words in the slider appear to be in Arabic or some other language. Also the site is not responsive in mobile, I cannot enlarge this normal or?
Can you please compare your site with the demo to see if its working differently on mobile. I am afraid we dont have an option to turn it off but it can be done via Custom Css. Let us know on which page you want it removed. Also do let us know the link .

the short codes themselves are appearing in the content areas on the mobile site the short code content is visible on the non mobile site

It seems like its loading a different site on mobile. Do you have jetpack or any third-party plugin installed. Please deactivate them .
