I installed Salient Theme Blog Magazine Demo. I would need to create author boxes with icons of social networks. I downloaded a "simple author" plugin but it creates two double author boxes:one of the plugin (with social icons) and one of the theme (without social icons). How can I keep only a biography? Otherwise, without installing a plugin, how can I insert the links directly from the native author box?

You will likely have to turn off the Salient author boxes in the Salient Theme options Panel -> Blog section .\
