This worked partially: I disabled 'Page transition' and now I can see my design again. I still have some problems though: in the 'Front End Editor' the first three elements (Intro, About and Events) are missing, but I see them perfectly in the 'Back End Editor'. The background image of the last two elements 'Rent the Venue' and 'Contact' seem to be wrong too.
Could you try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
Hello,
I'm designing a simple one-pager based on the Salient-theme using wordpress.
Yesterday, I was making the final touches (in the menu), when suddenly:
a) my website (https://koala-klub.com/) became all black, unless you minimize the screen. When you enter the mobile view, all becomes visible again.
b) when I enter the 'Frontend editor', I see my design, but some of texts I've entered are gone (see added printscreens)
I've based my design on your 'Band' demo page.
Could you look in to this as quickly as possibly.
As always, my client is very eager to go live ;-)
TNX!
Hey D,
Please see: http://prntscr.com/mant3r .
If you have Page Transitions Turned On Please Switch the Animated Transition Method to "Standard" in Salient Theme Options -> Page Transition Section.
Also be sure to check/uncheck this Disable Fade Out On Click option : http://prntscr.com/8f3bj7
Moreover if it doesnt work Turn off the Page Transitions and check for Browser Console Errors : https://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Your_Browser_to_Diagnose_JavaScript_Errors

I tried another browser and the problem remains.
Thanks again for answering!

Hey Tahir,
I've deactivated all third party plug-ins but the problem remains.
The weird thing is that de missing elements become visible again once you minimize the screen size to mobile.
Maybe the problem is really simple. This is my first time working with WP en Salient ;-)
Thanks for answering again.
Hey Again,
Try editing the Theme in Browser Incognito Mode as the Browser Cache could be causing this .
