    Hi,

firstly thanks again for such a great theme, I get very good feedback from this theme.
My first question is, how can I improve the load time on my blog page?

My second question, my blog main page is now 2 pages, but the arrow at the bottom is small and very easy to miss. Anybody would probably assume this in only one page and not click to the next page.

3rd question, on page 2 of the blog summary, the blogs at the top are being cut-off by the sticky header.

Please note I will be away for holidays April 4 -19. No quick response required for this support request, I would like to tackle these things on April 20 or after. Thank you, regards Craig

    Hey Craig!

You can take these steps to increase your overall site speed

    1. Leverage browser caching
    2. Reduce server response time
    3. Enable compression
    4. Optimize images

Those are the main points showing from pagespeed - so basically,

    1. Grab yourself a caching plugin like W3 Total Cache (there's tutorial videos all over youtube on how to set it up)
    2. Consider upgrading your host (opting for more power)
    3. Contact your host and ask them to enable gzip compression
    4. Make sure your images are web optimized meaning around 400kb or less

Second Question: You can simply remove pagination and make it one page.
3rd Question : I dont see them being cut-off in Chrome are you using another browser. Also can you provide page link of of the blog posts that are being cut-off.
    Thanks

    Hi Tahir,

that's really great advice - thank you.

I know I use a really bad browser - Safari, I actually use Firefox & Chrome as well.

After I sent that last request, the theme update became available, so I updated it. (very nice update BTW)

So the blog issue is gone now.

But there is a new small issue,

    http://design-kink.com/sexy-vinyl-record-cover-des...

What is the best photo size in pixels for the featured image?

On the blog post above, I have put in a featured imaged, but it does not appear on the blog, or on the posts page (see attached)

Thanks again for your great advice, I won't have time to implement it until after I return from holidays April 20.

    Hey Craig!

I believe the portfolio element you've placed on the page might be responsibly for hiding the featured image - can you attempt to remove that just to test this? If that's the case I'd recommend using the image gallery image instead :)

    Cheers!
