we have some small problems after the update on salient 4.0 today.
There appears a black bar (ca. 4px) between the portfolio items and the page header title (please see screenshot). We have that problem in all mayor browsers.
And the second problem isn't really a problem :D The alert that woocommerce is recommended shows up on every login even after dismissing it.
I have the same issue and placed the above into my custom CSS. But i still get the issue. I have tried clearing the browser cache and it works for the first time but if I then move to other pages it pops back up.
I have attached an image of the issue which is the thin gold bar and custom CSS box to make sure i have it right.

Add this into the Custom CSS box located in your Salient Options panel:
body[data-bg-header="true"] div.container-wrap, body.single-portfolio div.container-wrap, body.page-template-template-portfolio-php div.container-wrap { margin-top: -1px!important; }
