I tried changing the permalink structure a few times, but still no images are displaying. Everytime I revert back to Salient 3 - images load no problem. But 4.0 and 4.01 - portfolio images don't seem to load. I've tried making adjustments to the custom CSS and I've tried adding the portfolio element to new pages...tried adding new portfolio items. Images still not loading.
Yeah...I'm stumped. I'll give 4.02 a try, but I'm not hopeful at the moment. When I update the theme, should I have to make changes to the options of portfolios that are already in place? I didn't see anything in the documentation...so just wondering.

Your dns is not reachable. Also you havent really given details to what problem you seem to be having. If you can elaborate it maybe we could identify the issue.

None of the portfolio images are showing now on the Gallery page but they do if you click on one to see the detailed page. They all worked in the past. About a month ago, we updated to the latest salient version as of that time.
I am having the same problem. The images are blacked out. When I click on them they are fine but in the gallery it is blacked out. Please see screenshot. I also deactivated plugins. Yeah so my problem is the same as Greg above.
Hey - have you tried to reach out to your host to see if any server side caching is enabled? If they say no try repairing your database by following this:

Tried some things, somehow switching and switching back the permalink structure made more posts visible but not all posts. I also added the CSS script and that helped load some more images, but those older than 3 months still don't load. (Also installed the regenerate thumbnails plugin)
Just updated to Salient 4.0.1 and none of the portfolio images are displaying.

Try going to Settings/Permalinks, changing to another permalink structure, and back to "post name," and Pressing the Save Button.

I dont see any reason why the images would stop working . Maybe you have not set the new options correctly. Also we have version 4.0.2 out as well.

You could try opening it up and just pressing the save button. That should fix some messed up values if there are any.
