I couldn't find information about it in the forum, so decided to ask here.

I am currently running Wordpress 5.0 and Salient theme 10.0.

Wordpress is prompting me to update to Wordpress 5.1.

Is it safe to do so from the theme perspective? Is there any danger there will be troubles with the functionality after the update? If no, are there any details I should pay attention to while updating?

Hi Tahir,

thank you for your answer! I read the article you linked to. I have already done all that is described there, updated to Wordpress 5.0 and Salient 10 a while ago and all works fine.

What I would like to know now is - can I update to Wordpress 5.1 not fearing any incompatibility issues with Salient 10? I am sorry to ask you this probably very dummy question, but with the little experience I have with these things I would appreciate a straightforward yes or no answer, if that is possible.
