Can you tell me if is possible to display the featured image in the masonry blog page but remove it from the post page?

Hello again,

I have been seeing other post and in one of them you suggest a little CSS code in the custom css on the options menus i have done that but with no success 

this the is code:

.blog .post-featured-img { display: none; }

And here are imagens from my site on the home page are ok, bur in the post i still have the featured image, the other smaller image that appears is part of the text and i want that to stay.
