Is there a way to display a portfolio item but disable its link? For example if I have a portfolio item that is coming soon, it will display the featured image on the page but the user won't be able to click on it.
Thank you for the quick response. I have an another quick question about the image gallery. Instead of having arrows above the carousel, is there a way to have the next image peeking in from edge of the screen to indicate that there are more content?
I tried adding a hash symbol to the custom project url but it is not working. Just to confirm, the custom project url is the edit link button beneath the edit post title right?
Thanks for the response. I tried the #, is reload the page once I click on the link. The mouse still turns into a hand when I hover over it. It doesn't disable the link. Is this the right behavior?
I am afraid this is the only option to have coming soon item. If you need this modification done you could head on over to Envato Studio which is a service from Envato that offers paid WordPress customizations. I'm sure a developer on there would be able to wrap this up for you :)

Hey Jack!
You can simply enter a hash symbol : # in the Custom Project url and that should disable the link and would make the user stay at the same page.

1: The Carousel request would require custom work. Best would be to hire a freelancer to do it.
