I'm finessing a lot of items on our site - hence all questions - thank you again for your help.
on our home page i have a series of portfolio items i've arranged to look like your restaurant demo. I'm going to use them as navigation tools to specific blog entries and pages on our site.
I'm trying to keep one of them as a quote area - something like a solid color with a text quote over top. I currently have it configured as such [ just using a solid color image as the portfolio item with some text over top using the "Custom Content Grid Item Content" area.
I'm having a couple issues using it this way and was hoping for some help. Here are my issues;
on mobile devices, when rolling scrolling past this area; the text flicks colors a bit - I think it has to do with the portfolio setting i'm using "meta overlaid with zoom effect on hover". so my first question is; can i somehow program this specific portfolio item to not register the opacity change the others in the portfolio set are inheriting?
I recognize i could change teh entire portfolio setting to "meta overlaid with zoom effect on hover ALT" but I like seeing the dark shadows on the other
I'm also interested in this portfolio item not inheriting the opacity shade as it changes the color of the block I'm trying to create
Secondarily; is there a better way to display the background as a color?
Add this into the Custom CSS box located in your Salient Options panel (All custom css provided is tested in the Live Browser so it will work as intended . If you cant see any changes make sure there is no red cross in the Custom CSS Box as that syntax error would cause all css below it to not show up on the Frontend):
