Is it possible to turn of the global excerpt? I want to have more control over it. On front page I want to show 10 words, and on my news page I want it to be 25 word. Is that possible in some way?
I am afraid there is no quick fix solution for this. If you really need this modification done you could head on over to Envato Studio which is a service from Envato that offers paid WordPress customizations. I'm sure a developer on there would be able to wrap this up for you :)
