Could you please update to version 4.0.2 . Re-download from Themeforest.
You can update your theme by downloading a fresh copy from ThemeForest, deleting the current version you have on your server and uploading the new.
It's recommended that you use FTP, but this also can be done with the WP dashboard if you prefer. The reason FTP is superior for this is because the theme won't have to be deactivated during the process so you won't have to reassign your widgets. If you're
interested in keeping up to date with the latest changes and fixes, please refer to the changelog
Also, remember to clear your browser cache after each update if you notice anything off. Old theme files can persist in your local cache and make you think something's wrong.
I believe it is a path issue. Did you move sites or running a multisite ?. If you right-click on the icon and choose inspect element you will see the browser console and see the path of the missing image.
I am having the same problem, I am afraid to update and it affects my settings or the css files I edited, as it is nearly close of the launching date of this website, is there any specific file which I could replace to solve this issue?
I have updated the theme today and the icon is still with the same error. I also realized I was already using the latest version: themeforest-4363266-salient-responsive-multipurpose-theme-wordpress_theme.zip
Hello

Confirm this issue. Paths are correct, files are actually there, yet in Chrome, broken icon shows and in Firefox nothing shows (blank space).
This problem was solved with the last update.
Thanks for your help

Hey David!
The latest version is 4.9 . Are you running Theme version 4.9 .
Thanks
ThemeNectar Support Team
Yes. I am running version 4.9 and the problem isn't fixed yet (see attached image).
I really don't know what to do, could you please help me?
Hey Again!
Your server might not have the svg file type added in the server .htaccess file. Please see : http://www.w3.org/services/svg-server/ .
Also the latest theme version is 5.0 so do update to that .
Thanks

Thanks Tahir, I did both things and now it is fixed!
Have a great year.
